This would have to be the most demure image of my grandmother's sister in my possession. The only demure image of my Aunty Myrtle in existence, actually.
And she had huge anime doe-eyes before it was cool.

Myrtle was one of those young ladies who was frowned upon in polite society. Apparently she was quite the young hellion in her day. The terminology used to describe such youngsters in that era, while quaint could be enunciated with just the right taint of acerbic, pinch-lipped disapproval to convey a wealth of meaning.

She was cool before it was cool to be cool.
