An essential part of any shoebox of amateur photography collection is the random flash image.

Here is a classic example wherein a large expanse of grey carpet is offset by several dirty sneakers and a pair of cargo pants. Evidence points to it being a party of sorts, while the imagination it left to fill in the revellers, balloons, streamers, clowns and cake.
Nudists, go-go dancers, unicyclists, vertically-challenged entertainers, jelly-wrestling and colourfully erotic piñata.

It wistfully reminds me of the *good old* pre-digital days when you'd eagerly await your developing roll of film, only to find you have paid for the processing of twelve blurry shots, eleven photos you know you didn't take and one candid image of someone's ear.
